If you haven’t visited the neighborhood lately then you haven’t seen the newest home types now welcoming folks to Mueller. The completion of the first Garden Homes, built by David Weekley Homes, and the first Mueller Houses nearing completion, built by Standard Pacific Homes, continues to expand the array of housing styles available to Austinites (and future Austinites!).

Located along Simond Avenue near Lake Park, the Mueller Houses are the realization of a housing concept introduced in the Mueller Design Book. When you approach a Mueller House, at first glance you might think it’s another expansive custom home, but each of these houses actually consists of four or six single-family condominium units that range in size from 1,300 to 2,400 square feet. The innovative concept combines with intriguing design elevations and native landscaped front yards to make these one-of-a-kind homes only found in Austin at Mueller.

Not far from the Mueller Houses and just steps from the dynamic Southwest Greenway, the new Garden Homes are detached, single-family homes ranging between 1,000 and just over 2,000 square feet. Many of these homes front on a green space with some floor plans offering a third-floor loft to enjoy downtown views. These charming houses have big curb appeal and a peek inside only gets better.
